A Palette of Pioneer Places

An exhibition of renowned Canberra artist Isla Patterson's water colours.

Isla has painted eight heritage buildings of local significance in Hall. Villages such as Hall were gazetted in 1882 and surrounding land was identified for market gardens, commercial options and residential blocks.

The exhibition features eight early district properties, supplemented by accounts of the heritage of each building.

Come and discover their origins.
