Events ACT is very excited to present what is anticipated to be the first in a series of free development workshops for the Canberra region’s festivals and events sector.

Providing access to presenters who are leaders and educators in their field of expertise is a great way to help build sector capacity and further enhance Canberra’s events and festival landscape.

Details on our first workshop, which will be focused on best practice event sponsorship acquisition, is included below. Be sure to secure your place at one of the two sessions on offer as capacity is limited.

Event Sponsorship Essentials Workshop

Do you run events in the Canberra region? Do you struggle with securing sponsorship? Join us for a free, interactive session and learn best practice sponsorship basics from Kim Skildum-Reid, one of the sponsorship industry’s most influential thought leaders.

What will the course cover?

  • sponsorship basics: why it’s important and how it works; and
  • current trends in sponsorship with reference to case studies; and
  • how to create a hit list; and
  • how to develop sponsorship proposals; and
  • how to formalise your proposal to achieve optimal results.

             Please note both sessions will cover the same content.
              Participants will only need to attend one session.
