Films at the National Film and Sound Archive

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) presents an extensive screening program and a range of special events throughout the year.

Weekday screenings are 'Australian Identity: Landscape.' This collection of documentaries reflect the harsh beauty and kaleidoscopic nature of the Australian landscape and the people who made it their home.

The Bench Room cafe at the NFSA is open Monday-Friday 9am–3pm. Enjoy a changing selection of homemade food, including light meals, snacks, morning and afternoon tea items in the beautiful heritage courtyard.

Every Sunday, settle in for a season of cinematic delights. Delight in a selection of rare, cult, classic and experimental treasures, with some special screenings from the NFSA's 35mm and 16mm collection.

Visit the NFSA's website to view the full calendar of events and screening times.
